A Day of Adventure Across Two Parks

Today, I asked the boys what they wanted to do, and their excitement led to a fantastic plan — two parks and lunch out! 😄 First, we set off for a scenic walk across the clifftops, keeping an eye out for the goats (sadly, they weren’t around today, but we still had a lovely view!). We made our way to Shelley Manor, where the boys had a blast swinging super high and zooming down the slide like little pros! ⛅️

Afterwards, we headed to Poppins for a delicious and warming lunch to refuel for the chilly afternoon. 🍴 With our bellies full and spirits lifted, we made our way to Kings Park. There, we got creative with chalk, drawing pictures and writing our names on the pavement. 🖍️ We played a fun alphabet game using the caterpillar, where I’d call out a letter, and they’d race to find it and draw a circle around it — they were both excellent at it!

The fun didn’t stop there! We played hide and seek, slid down the hill, and tried to run back up again (it was harder than it looked, but they gave it their all!). 🏃‍♂️

The highlight of the day came when their school friends joined us for even more fun, racing around and playing Pokémon together. It was the perfect way to wrap up a fun-filled day of laughter and adventures! 💥
