A Penguin's Lunchtime

Today we headed to the aquarium where we enjoyed looking at all the sea creatures. We found out lots of new information about some different animals. When looking at the catfish and the tiger catfish making A laugh at their funny names saying they don't look like cats or tigers. We saw the Otters playing together in the water and two different Stingrays. We watched the penguins diving deep into the water while down in the play area. Before heading downstairs to the tunnel there was a brilliant worker (Emily) teaching everyone about different items she had on a table. A enjoyed learning about the shark's skull and how many teeth they have and O enjoyed looking at the claw. We headed down into the tunnel where we saw lots of sharks, stingrays, turtles and little fish swimming all around us.

Then it was time for the Penguin feeding. Before it started we we looked at the different colour armbands on them and checked the board to find out their names. We listened to them talking about the penguins and what they eat and how there is a baby one who's just shed her baby fur so was super shiny and white. On our way out we got to see the huge turtle up close which O loved.

A said her favourite sea animal was the catfish and O said his was the turtle.
